Hello All
New to the site and only posted once so far, received lots of good advice and compliments which was lovely, saying my beardie looks in good health. My beardie is named Flo who I've had a few weeks now. She's my first one and came to me with very little information. Would love your advice on the best foods please! When I got her, as far as I know she ate grasshoppers twice a week and kale every other day. I've since read up online and tried to introduce a new diet. Some she clearly likes, others not so much so I've listed them below, please can you advice on any bad foods and also and good foods I'm probably unaware of as i'm learning each day.
Live food twice a week - as much as she wants in 10-15 minutes
Grasshoppers - not that keen so I changed her to crickets
Crickets - likes these
Superworms (as a treat once a week/10 days) absolutely loves them, can't take them off me quick enough!
Fresh fruit/veg- varies but offered fresh each day
Kale- loves it
Green beans- loves them
Dandelion leaf/rose petals/marigold (dried from pet shop) doesn't entertain it
Carrots (very occasional) likes these
Apple- doesn't entertain
Sweetcorn- likes
Bell peppers- likes
Cress- likes
Chickpeas (only a couple) wolfed them down (bit concerned as some sites say no)
Peaches- doesn't entertain
Butternut (tried for the first time today, absolutely loved it)
Celery- ate a little
Cabbage- ate a little
Beetroot- didn't entertain
Sprouts- loved them
Sweet potatoe- eats a little
Parsnip- doesn't entertain
Please could you let me know if there's anything on the list i shouldn't be giving and other foods i'm missing out
Sorry forgot to mention she's an adult of 2+ that's why I feed her live twice a week
