She seems to be feeling a bit better today. She’s staying in temps of high 80s mid 90s for most part. Her tail in low 100s. Where she wants to lay down her uvb light blocks the basking bulb so it’s been a bit of a pain keeping temps accurate. I’ve been watching her temps at night and it says it’s around 80 but she always feels cold when I touch her. I’m using 2 different devices to check temps so not sure why she got so cold last night when the cage was steady 80. I even have a heated blanket through over half the top of the tank and leave it on to help hold heat.Hello,
Poor Zilla. She most likely had a follicle burst internally which usually causes peritonitis or the inflammation
of the uterine wall. I bet it did look like scrambled eggs poor thing! No wonder she wasn't doing 100%, with
all of that going on inside.
She does look pretty tired but hopefully she will be feeling better real soon. Let's hope that they got the mess all cleaned up!

I did give her a little non dairy yogurt today and some Gatorade. She usually takes between 5-7 crit care a day but as vet talked she should have been eating on her own within a few days and that’s why I am worried some. Her beard looks normal thoughHello Brandon!
How is little Zilla doing today?
The anesthesia's effects can sometimes last a few days, meaning she could feel groggy, tired &
have very little appetite. Is her beard normal colored or darker than usual?
I would be giving some probiotics though, because the metacam is probably one of the culprits of
her upset tummy.
Is she basking normally for a good portion of the day?

Yeah she hates her tank. Before she started getting sick she was hardly ever in it. She even sleeps in bed with me normally. This past winter with her being sick I believe is longest she’s ever been in it except when she was little and I would work during the day. We’re use to being outside or if I’d go down the road she’d be right with me.Hello Brandon,
If she isn't used to the tank it might be affecting her some, it can stress them being in a different
enclosure. She doesn't look too bad there. Most likely she is sore from another surgery so I can't
blame her for not wanting to move around much yet. She has been through an ordeal for sure.
Do the best you can with feeding rigt now. If she is fighting you some on it then at least she has
some strength.
Keep her a little warmer overnight right now also.
Did they give you anything to put on the incision?
Let us know how she is doing.

So I went to a few different stores to look for honey. This is the best one I found. Is it ok or do I need filtered? Also any idea how much I should give? Don’t want to overdo it.The incision looks good. If her throat is a bit sore you can try a little raw honey mixed with lukewarm water to soothe it. Hopefully she continues to progress to good health !
Thank you she really seems to like that. She liked it a little bit and normally she fights me on everything from the start.Just a few drops , rough estimate about 1 part honey to 10 parts water , warmed slightly so it mixes and use a syringe. The honey will last a long time so it doesn't matter if she takes it some days or only for a short while. You can use the rest of the bottle for yourself of course.
