Izzie has been "stargazing" and clicking when breathing for the last day. Two days ago, he took off outside and ended up in a large puddle. I wasn't too worried at first, he's done this before. He'll sit and have a soak (and a poopy) before continuing his jaunt. This time however, the water was pretty dirty and not too warm. Not sure if that caused this or not.

There is only one vet that deals in "exotics", and unfortunately it isn't the one I go to for my cats. I need to know the best questions (and right answers) to make sure they know how to deal with Izzie! The last time I went to a different vet (for my rabbit) they didn't know diddly-squat and we lost her. I don't want that to happen to my Izard!

Also would appreciate suggestions for making him more comfy. Right now, he's burrito-ed on my chest, fast asleep.

You can call the office and ask them if they have experience with reptiles. I learned exotic labeled vets may or may not have experience with reptiles. Here is how I found my vet, I called all the vets in surrounding towns and asked for referrals to an experienced reptile vet that has experience with bearded dragons. BTW, there is only two that knows anything. The first one I chose had a state of the art office that charges outrageous prices and was not very good. The second one didn't have a state of the art facility but has a caring mind and is willing to learn. This vet is the vet I will only take my three to. He has even worked with a vet on the east coast once for Semi. Chose a vet that is open minded and listens to you. BTW, I have to drive 45-50 minutes to see this vet but it is totally worth it.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
