I see that it's a fine mesh so it's going to need to go in the tank or take part of your screen off- it needs to be unobstructed and distance 12-15 inches directly above the basking decor

It came in. We are setting it up tomorrow. He hasn’t really eaten for a week. He’s had a blueberry and one superworms but no dubias, will the UVB help?

It probably will help. UVB is how they synthesize D3 to absorb their calcium and they won't eat if they aren't getting enough of it.

Yes the UVB will increase his appetite and his coloring will be more vivid--- please place of basking decor directly underneath approx 12-15 inches

You can use these things 3 M command Velcro fasteners- picture hanging wire – long plastic zip ties or this it works really good its like a velcro strap cut into strips the wrap around your fixture Panduit Tak-Tape Bulk Hook and Loop Fastening Cable Tie - 20 Foot Roll x 3/4 Inch - Black
