Hello, new to the board.

Im building a new cage for my sons beardie.
the cage is 52'' long by 20'' deep by 24'' tall.
all plywood on all sides with a sliding sreendoor window in front.

I have six, two inch holes that I have cut for venting. two on each side 8 inches from the top, and two in the back 12 inches from the top. the holes will have screen over them.

Is this enough for good venting?

You may have a hard time controlling your temps with a sliding screen door. You will lose a lot of heat.

Its the sliding window off a screen/storm door. There is no "screen".

Aha! Then yes it sounds to me like you will be good on ventilation...if you find it is too warm no matter what you do you can always drill more.
