Valerian Herb Leaves?

I am wondering if anyone knows whether or not its okay for Bearded Dragons to eat the leaves of Valerian Herb. I know the root is used as a sedative so I wouldn't let them eat the root but I don't know about the leaves. The reason I ask is because we have a valerian herb plant outside our back door and my adult beardie ate some and we stopped her but she keeps trying to get to it. It seems like she really likes it and she's just fine after eating it. So, it would be really great if anyone can tell me if its okay for them to have it.

thats what vallium is made from....maybe shes like a koala and knows it will get her a lil bit stoned like the koalas know eukalyptis will get them stoned...lol
