Hi everyone,
Im going on vacations for the weekend (4 days) and I cant find a place to leave Sammy my bd. and I don't have anyone to come home and feed her. I have her lights on timer and right now her stapple are supers and her greens. Is it posible to leave her a plate full of supers for the weekend ? I bought a worm feeder plate so the worms cant come out, but look like she is not interested in eating from it , so I dont know if I should leave worms inside the tank for her to eat. Please give me suggestions because I dont know what to do....

I changed my mind and I want to take her with us, so I need to know if someone has done it already and if anybody can give all the tips and tricks to get her inside the hotel room. I Also want to know what kind of setup I need for her to be confortable in the room because her actual tank will be too big to carry. Please I'm runing out of time so all sugestions will be appreciated....

I recently heard of someone buying a large rubbermaid type container to use as a viv. I would think your dragon would be fine for a week or two without UVB, but not much more. You will have to find out some way to clamp the basking lamp on so that it gets warm enough, but doesn't melt the plastic. Maybe you should try the viv at home for a day or two first to make sure the temps are right. As for actually in the car, you can either use a small animal or cat carrier, or you can let him ride "shotgun". If you choose the later, be very careful as I had to pull over several times on my last trip to get my boyfriend's beardie out from under my feet. Tyson is usually well behaved, but wasn't that day. I would recommend a carrier in case he/she is too much of a handful. We have found its better to travel near Tyson's (havn't tried transporting Lilly yet) bed time so he will snuggle in and rest.

We've take our two oldest beardies with us on trips. We don't worry about uvb because they can go for a while without it or they get natural sunlight. We used large rice bags and kept them warm, we only used a 40 watt light because the containers got to warm for them. BTW, mine wasn't in their containers very much, only after they ate so their tummy's got warm. Don't be surprised if your beardie doesn't eat as much due to the change in scenery but for a few days, it's okay.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
