Hello! My name is Elizabeth, and i am planning on getting a baby beardie for the first time next month. I am no lizard expert, since this will be my firt lizard. But i do have two dogs and a goldfish at the moment. Im 14, and i have a couple of questions to ask. What is the cheapest alternative for the Reptisun 10.0 bulb? I heard that it is the most possible best, but i cant afford it yet. I will deffinetely get this bulb the next time i buy a uvb bulb, but not for the first time. Is reptiglo 8.0 okay for the first few months? Please reply soon!

Hi. You should get your set up correctly first before you get your beardie. So your beardie will grow to a happy healthy adult. The reptisun tube 10.0 is one of the best reptiglo not so much. Make sure you don't use coil or compact at all. Also you can use a regular bright white household bulb for the basking light. Make sure you get a digital thermometer with a probe for accurate temp readings.

No don't buy it I did and ended up replacing and spending more. Stupid petco and me for not doing the adequate research :roll:
