UVB light question

So i got a uvb light from my friend. It fits perfectly on the cage, like its ment for it. When i turned it on, the light would work for about 10 minutes, then start to flicker really badly. I figured it was time to replace. I got a repti glo 10.0 uvb light, and put it in, but when i turn it on, the light flickers right away, and wont stop. Time for a new light fixture? or do i need to let the light warm up or something since its new?

I had sort of the same problem
When i bought my reptisun 10 it flickered a lot when i first turned it on.
All i did was twist it in the fixture a little and it stopped flickering.
I guess it just wasn't in right

yeah, iv delt with a similar problem. just make sure the light is in good, and the can be a bit touchy sometimes
