UVB: Ceiling or Back Wall?

Hello! I just recently finished putting together a 4x2x2 viv for my future beardie. I've done lots of research, but one of the things I keep seeing contradicting advice on is the placement of the UVB fixture/bulb. Some say to put it on the ceiling, some say that 3/4ths of the way up the back wall is better so they can get closer to the bulb itself. I have cut out a rectangle on top of the viv that I am going to be covering with mesh and have the basking bulb rest on there (halogen flood bulb), in case that makes any difference. Thanks ahead of time!

Edit: When I say ceiling, I mean mounting it from the top on the inside.

Always ceiling.
Some of the lower strength bulbs may get away with being on the wall, but the high output ones really should be overhead. Think of it like the sun, during the day it's up and overhead. Plus, there is risk of damaging or uncomfortable glare when any light is on an angle so that it shines at the face.

With that bulb and fixture you will want the lamp 12-14" away.

Depends on how far/close your basking setup is, if it's closer than 12-14" you'd want to take the reflector off. otherwise it gives the light a boost and helps make it a little less obnoxious to viewers
