Ok I've been trying to figure out the best way to get a reptisun 10.0 tube light and a basking light over the same spot. reason being I want the beardie to get her UVB while basking. Also I have a 36" tank with screen top and Ive read the screen can reduce UVB up to like 30% so not sure how to have the light over the cage without the screen.

I have a lamp stand with a 150 watt lamp that I can put next to the UVB but angle it towards the basking spot which could solve the first issue. Anyone know how I could rig the UVB tube so its sits securely on the tank without the screen top being on it?

Appreciate any advice, pics would be a plus if you have a similar cage/setup.

I don't have a setup like this, but if it were me, i would do something like this:

You can adjust the height of the light to sit flush with the top of the tank. I would then build a new screen to cover the rest of the opening. If you really want to get creative, when you make the new cover, you could make it so you can remove part of the cover without having to move the heat lamp.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
