UVB 10.0 bulb

Hi.
How can you tell if you have a Repti Glo 10.0 or a Repti Sun 10.0 tube? I purchased one about a month ago and can not find the receipt and of course got rid of the box with the old tube. Been dealing with a dragon who has an URI ... but this question isn't about the URI. I have her bright light going off from 2-6 during the day to keep her viv from getting too hot. I have noticed she seems to be avoiding sitting under the UVB tube. Tracie suggested getting her up closer to the tube and I can not seem to keep her there. I caught her a few times today just looking up at it and her bearded becoming a little darker and this started after the bright light went out. Thinking back on it, when I first installed the tube she sat and looked up at it all day. I thought maybe it was making a weird noise or something ... or she was adjusting to more UVB exposure.

Turn off the bulb, and look at it. It should say on the bulb itself if it's a repti-sun or repti-glo...

Why do you have her lights going off during the day? If you have the right bulb in there, it shouldn't make a difference about the heat. They need the bright light from the heat bulb all day, or else you're just going to screw up her metabolism and get her confused about days and nights. If the viv is getting too hot, have a fan blowing across the top of it to try to equalize the air flow.

i was advised not to have a fan blowing while she has a URI.

What are you using to measure your temps with? If the temps don't get above 112*f then you do not need to turn off the lights to get the temps lower...
