USPS Rant!!! SOOOO Frustrated!

I had ordered 5000 Reptiworms for my dragons on Monday that were supposed to be delivered yesterday. They still have not arrived and the USPS couldn't care any less. They simply said "your package will arrive when it arrives and there is nothing I can do about it". The guy at Reptiworms was cool about it, but there is nothing that can be done until next week since they do not ship again until Monday. He said that if they arrive dead they will replace them for me, unfortunately in the meantime I have to buy 70+ crickets a day until my worms arrive. While that only amounts to about $8.00 a day, it is adding up REALLY FAST! The reptiworms only cost $0.013/each, while the crickets are costing me $0.11/each. THIS SUCKS!!!!!

USPS is horrible or so I hear. I always order from Armstrong crickets and I think they only ship UPS/FedEx. I have never had a shipping disaster. I recommend spending the extra couple of bucks for better shipping.

Okay. I think they ship with the USPS flat rate. That is pretty cheap. If you call, you can get next day air but it will be probably over 15 dollars.

The worms finally made it, only a week after delivery!! Of course there were no live worms left in the bucket and it was RANK!!!! You could smell it before the seal was even broken on the bucket. I am sure we can all imagine what 5000 dead reptiworms smell like after sitting in the heat of Cali, Nevada, Utah, or wherever they have been for the last week. NOT PRETTY!!

At least the guys at reptiworm are going to send me some more, though this time I will pay for 2nd day air service from UPS. It is more expensive, but worth it this time.

We have this problem when shipping paintball gear. USPS is horrible most times. They break and lose things and will not take responsibility unless you pay for it in the form of insurance.

Luckily, the people you bought them from understand and are working with you.

My Reptiworm orders usually make it to ohio in 2-3 days. They are shipped USPS Priority Mail, just checked the shipping box.

USPS Priority mail is the standard shipping method and should only take 2 days to get to Denver, but it took a week to get here. Reptiworms has been GREAT!! I will be receiving the new shipment today, of course I paid to ship them UPS 2nd day with guaranteed delivery by the end of the day. My boys will be SOOOOOO happy to see them back on the menu tonight!

You definitely need to use Reptiworms or Phoenix worms. Calciworms are the highest cost when I compared all 3. Give me your zipcode and I'll try and make a fake order with Repti to find out the shipping to you

Nevermind the only shipping method available to me online is USPS priority

Aww okay well thanks for trying I recently had issues with USPS with shipping my dragon so I guess I can call them and set up 2nd day air.

It cost me $28 to ship 10,000 worms. I hope it was just a fluke since they are sending me more on Monday using their standard shipping method.

As far as price, it depends on how many you order. You can get 1000 for less than $50 shipped. I am getting breeder pricing because I order so many. I only pay about $115 for 10,000 shipped. I then keep them in a wine cooler and feed my dragons as many as they want to eat. These will last me 2+ months.

25 reptiworms isn't even enough to feed one of my dragons for a single day. They will each eat 50+ a day.
