I could use some help, a guy I work with is moving and has what he says is a 2yr old Mali Uromastyx. For whatever reason, he doesnt want to take it with him and wants me to take it since I already have a couple lizards(bearded dragon, nile monitor, savannah monitor). Whats messed up is he doesnt want to give up the tank(55 gal) or the lighting since he says he will likely get another one once he is finished moving. He is moving across country but only wants to give away the uro. I do have a spare 40 gal breeder, but dont have a clue what type of lighting they need. Is a reptisun 10.0 sufficient for a uro? What type of lighting, substrate, cage decor will I need? He says it is currently on gravel and has a couple large rocks for basking. Any help is appreciated.
