Ive recently noticed that my beardies appetite has decreased, she was always lazy but she still lunged for it. Now she looks at it and sorta opens her mouth but doesnt chomp. I noticed this today, yesterday she ate fine. I managed to get her to each a big roach today.
My temps are fine. 105-110 hot side, 75-80 cool side. Reptisun 10.
I dont keep a water dish there, I bathe her in lukewarm water twice a week or so.
Been feeding her dusted dubia and random veggies from the beautifuldragons nutrition chart.
Shes in a 55 gallon with tile for substrate.
Yesterday I noticed that she would puff and unpuff her beard constantly and thought it was a bit weird so I checked up on URIs and they all said to look for mucous in the mouth or nose and check for clicking but she isnt showing any of those signs so I thought she would stop today, well she hasnt and when she didnt eat a single roach i worried.
By the way when I say constantly I mean 5 mins every 30 mins or so, I dont really keep track but its not like shes wheezing or gasping for breath or anythign like that.
If I need to take her to the vet, anybody know of a vet in NYC that knows beardies?
