So my bearded dragon has been shedding or trying to shed for about 3 weeks. He cannot get the skin on his back to break and I am almost 100% positive his sudden aggression is due to shedding. I have never had a problem with him trying to bite, he has puffed up and hissed but the week before last he was 100% okay with touch and being held. This past monday he suddenly became aggressive and I am trying to put it off as being grumpy from shed, but he tried to bite me tonight and thats just not cool. So I am a little worried about this shed if its making him this uncomfortable. Do you think it is the shed?
So now to the health part of this post. Because he has been trying to shed for so long I went out yesterday and got him some Aloe Vera gel 100% aloe vera so not added junk. He seems to calm down a little when I put this on him. But he has stopped basking on his basking spot and I am getting SO worried about him.
His temps are perfect
Air temp hot side 90 cool side 82
Basking temp 103 (he likes it cooler than 105)
His humidity is at 15% I am going to try and raise it but dont know how. Do I just put some water in there?
I bathe him almost every day.
I cannot get this shed off of him and I dont want it to be a huge problem.
PLEASE HELP ME!
I dont know what will happen to him if he cant split this shed!
