URGENT inquiry on basking bulb!!

Hey all. I'm going out of town for six days and I need to take my beardie with me( I know not ideal but I have no one to care for her as it is for the holidays and everyone will be gone) I have a 10 gallon tank for her to stay in just for those few days, I'm wondering what wattage her basking bulb should be? I have no idea and I can't find a straight answer anywhere! I have a 100w for my 40 gallon but I think that'll be too much for her in such a small place! Also any tips on how to keep her warm during the drive? It's about a 6 hour drive

The drive shouldn't be a problem. Warm car temps have been totally fine in my experience. I use a tote bag with a fleece blanket or towel at the bottom. Carry some hand warmers to put under the towels if you stop and leave her in the car for brief bits for rest breaks/food. If you can get an adjustable lamp stand or a clamp lamp it helps with changing the height of the bulb so you can get the correct temps. If you have an enclosed room where you're going, a dog bed or similar is fine. Just bring along some basking logs/rocks. If you need to keep her contained, a pop up playpen works well. A 10g tank is a bit small for being able to give her enough room and provide a good temperature gradient. This is my travel setup and it works well.

Thanks for the info! The only thing is where we're going there are cats and young kids so I wouldn't trust a room where someone could accidentally let other animals in or let her out! I know a 10 gallon isn't much but I'll have her out a nice bit, She just needs to be in a secure place when I'm not around.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
