urgent help needed with 4 babies in particular..

it started out with just one little late hatchling that started stargazing and twirling, now tonight as i fed them 3 more were singled out. they are all smaller then the others and while walking turn in at least 2 circles before going straight, flip, stargaze, and lean. one even seems to be dying as i type this. he is spasming and looking like he is going to puke, falling over then gasping for air. this is devistating to me and breaking my heart. they hardly eat and when they do catch a worm (phoenix worms) they spasm and barely keep it in their mouths. i fear the worst and am looking into euthanasia as i read there is nothing but bad outcomes of these symptoms. please. any words of encouragement or wisdom are appreciated. if euthanasia is the only answer its better then suffering.

I'm so sorry....poor little ones, I know it's heartbreaking. It may be ADV or some type of virus or infection. The neurological symptoms look terrible but are not likely to be painful. The babies will either make it through this or will more likely die very shortly.

That means mom or dad have adv if it proves out to be that, correct? Should I expect it to continue through all the babies? We have another clutch hatching shortly. It's so far only showing up in the smaller of the bunch, the bigger babies are still thriving and eating plentifully. It is awful to watch and know that they will die soon from it. I really wish stuff like this didn't exist in animals, the precious souls don't deserve it. Thank you for responding. I will keep update if they pull through or pass on. Is there any comfort I can give the babies? I should continue offering food even despite the spasms right? They seem pretty violent and I hope it doesn't hurt them. Thank you again. It's very tough for me to see animals suffer as they have always brought me joy in my life.

How are the babies ? If you want to get the parents tested, Tracie [ Drache613 ] can help you out for a reasonable price. If the parents aren't positive then the babies may have something else, even a severe calcium deficiency. But there's no absolute guarantee the babies DON'T have it, and not all the babies will exhibit illness even if they are ADV positive.

One has seemingly shaken it off and is doing well, the other 3 seem to be slowly progressing worse. One will not eat at all, the others eat only a few worms a day. I may look into testing the parents but I may wait to see if this hatching clutch (3 babies have hatched so far of 22) does the same. It is very possible for it to have been calcium related in all honesty. I had no idea she was gravid nor did anything accidentally to get her gravid (let alone wanted, the poor girl was barely 7 months old) so she was only getting dusted yummies three times a week (she ate daily mind you, I just only dusted every other day) but anyways. No other baby has exhibited the symptoms. I have my fingers crossed things get better.
I do know about the unfortunate part that they may all be carriers just not exhibitors. I hope they don't suffer. I just meant if it was a guarantee they would all submit to symptoms but common sense just kicked me into gear. Thank you again AHBD. I appreciate all of your help.
