Before I start I just want to say I am writing this at work and I will post the photos when I actually get home. So finally my new terrarium has arrived it's a 75 gallon 48 by 24 by 24 terrarium it's very good and it is bioactive but I have not put the plants in they should be ready hopefully sometime next week recommend the quarantine I am free rooting any plants before placing them in for about a week my bearded dragon she is very happy getting out of the 20 gallon tank that we had for her she's only just 4 months just starting to reach 13 inch she's growing very fast. I got my bioactive kit from the bio dude very good I would read it for sure 4.5 out of 5 stars if it came with the isopods and springtails included it would be 5 out of 5 there is a lot of space to work with upgrading the lighting the humidity will be messed up for the first couple of days but that is normal just letting it cure the humidity levels are not raised Beyond anything that would not be seen from a couple of day long rain storm if I have time I am going to rig up a natural Rain system. As soon as I put Spike into her new enclosure she went straight to digging herself some hides and different boroughs running around marking it as hers. All together a very good move.

i'm glad you got him a Bigger home to roam in but, Bioactive AND, a Rain system??? You are asking for problems. Dragons are desert creatures and, high humidities (like you are going to have) can cause RI's and other health issues and, promotes fungus, mold and, bacteria to form very rapidly.
I would not do this to my dragon nor will I suggest someone do this. Bioactive is a great idea for tropical species because they thrive in high humidity, Dragons...not so much.

Just being concerned for your dragon!!!

and to keep in mind that is just a light misting of a rain system a bioactive setup has been proven more than plenty of times to equal long listing for any sort of reptile remember they are still wild animals the closer you get to their natural habitat without Predators the longer they will live it has been a very proven fact that if you keep something in a sterile environment for too long or something that is too sterile it will hurt and weaken the immune system. Just like in the wild you will have random spikes of humidity Australia has no true deserts they have Savannah territory which is sub desert also similar to the Sahara but it's not quite but I'm not here to debate that I'm done a lot of set up a lot of testing besides the initial Spike and humidity after it is absorb into this soil which is designed for this the humidity even in this stage never does go about 40 it will stay consistent at just about 15 percent. No disrespect intended.

just keep in mind that the different plants like the elephant feed have not been added I bought some temporary plants and are currently in quarantine just a recommendation to anybody who is interested in it all your plants that you buy or even if you ordered the men should be in quarantine before you put them in just in case don't trust things you buy at the store when it comes to this even though it replicates the natural environment the things that they put on the plants will absolutely destroy it and will definitely cause some major health issues for Your Dragon. They will be free rooted into this material once they are done. I'm also thinking about removing the background because I noticed she has been trying to get on certain plants that are part of the background she has stopped a glass surfing but she will periodically do it very particular spots so I'm guessing that might be what's going on. Where I happened to live at the moment is going through a pretty bad winter but as soon as the weather clears I will grow my own plants.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
