Update (w/ pics)

So I figured since I haven't posted in a while, I might as well update anyone who would be interested. Still haven't sexed the dragon yet, although I'm still hoping for a male rather than a female. He'd doing really well though, especially since I've switched him to dubias and off of crickets. EDIT: My colony I ordered from Backwater Reptiles just arrived today, so he'll be getting a steady stream of them from now on. There was one or two DOA, but I expected that, and the majority seem okay. I ordered an extra 200 nymphs along with it, so I have a buffer set on when I actually need to pick from the breeder bin.

These are from yesterday and today, after I noticed that he started shedding his face. (I couldn't stop myself from laughing at his nose plugs)

So I found out my beardie is, in fact, a boy - he is now dubbed Thorin!

I also decided to take a pic and compare it to when I first got him, which was roughly two months ago. He's roughly 12-13 weeks old now.

He/she is so cute!!! I had wanted to get a cactus for my lil guy, but I thought the spikes would bother him! Lol I guess they like them! Oh we'll he's was already to big any way!

So it's been a while since I've posted on here, might as well update.

For the past week or so, Thorin's been on TMS for a suspected parasite, even though the fecal float came back negative. His stool's been runny for a while, so I thought it best to treat him as such anyway. He was weighed at the vet so at ~5 months he's 12 inches long and 92 grams.

We also had a photoshoot last night, so here's the results of that.
