Update On Lestat (4 Mos. Old Today W/ PICS)

Lestat turned 4 months old today. He's been doing really good. He still seems a little nervous about being handled, but I stick with it everyday. I'm still a little concerned about whether he's getting enough to eat. I feed him twice a day, but he doesn't eat all at once. Sometimes I drop one cricket in at a time and other times I put them all in at once. He eats about 5 or 6 at once and then goes back up to bask for awhile. Then, he'll eat anywhere between 2 and 6 more later before returning to his basking spot. He munches like this every day. I find he still has crickets in his enclosure at night that I have to remove. Is this normal? I've read that dragons need to eat within 10 or 15 minutes, but he never does this. He poops about 3 times a day, has fresh water, and a salad each day (which he also only nibbles on throughout the day).

I'm not sure if his weight is within normal range and am hoping someone can tell me if it is or not. At four months, he's about 14 inches long and weighs 112 grams ( or 3.9 oz.). I just noticed that he is developing these little bumps on the underside of his back legs too. Is this significant for anything? One other thing I noticed is that he occasionally makes some weird noise that sounds like he's either choking or wheezing. He has done it after eating a few crickets. Because he wants to munch on crickets throughout the day rather than a short feeding time, my crickets have grown into full winged adults. So, I've been giving him these crickets. I've got a new order placed already for 1/2" crickets. He eats fast but seems to chew his crickets up good.

Here are some pics I below of Lestat at 4 months...

He's beautiful! His name suits him perfectly!! :)

Thank you! It's funny, because I named him after the vampire Lestat from the Anne Rice novels for his pale skin and sharp teeth. Sometimes he'll strike crickets with his tongue without eating them and then leave them there to die. I'll find the crickets a little later all dried up to a crisp as if he drank them dry. lol He's my little vampire boy. :headbang:

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
