in my first clutch of bearded dragon eggs (21 eggs) only 5 eggs survuved and was healthy (the others collapsed in the first week or two or were just infertile). 4 of them hatched at day 49 of incubation which was completely unexpected that early, all within 48 hours of each other. its now been 4-5 days since they hatched but there is still one in the incubator that looks plump and healthy but has not shown any signs of hatching. will it make it?

Has it hatched yet? With my 1st dragon Laying around 58 eggs in only one clutch her 1st time 4 yrs ago, I had one egg that was almost double the size of the others. It takes around 60 days for hatching to occur so it sounds like ur ok & haven't reached that point yet. All of mine hatched out within 4-5 days of each other except for the humongous egg. I even called my vet a week later. It still looked good & he sed to leave it b. apparently the larger the egg, the longer it takes to hatch. That egg hatched 2 weeks after the others finished hatching! That baby was a monster!!! My 7 yr old daughter named her Miss Fatty because she was so big, and now Miss Fatty has just laid her 2nd clutch about 2 wks ago. Don't give up; don't toss the egg -- it'll eventually hatch when it's ready!

Wow! 58 eggs in one clutch! that is ALOT ha.
its now been 13 days since the 1st beardie hatched and is around day 62 of incubation, but iv heard of eggs takiing up to 70 days to hatch so i guess i should just leave it to incubate and hope it hatches
and thanks:)

Yeah, I almost threw away Miss Fatty's egg but didn't, just in case and it paid off. She was 2 weeks later than the others but thank God I waited! Don't wanna toss a perfectly good egg. I'm sure it'll eventually hatch if it's still white & plump. U'll probly have Godzilla on ur hands if it goes over 72 days! :)

Average hatch time at 82 to 84 degrees is 60 days. So wait it out. If your hatching at 49 days your running hot and there is a good chance you babies will be on the nippy side. Watch out for toes and tails.

it varies from 81/82 to the max being around 86 and ye there around 2 weeks old and no problems with tail or toe nips, so all good, all eating healthy and doing fine

update on the egg

its turned a sort of dullish colour; not really dull but duller if that makes sence. Also its turned very soft

is this a sign of it hatching??

Its been 4 yrs since my last babies hatched and I don't remember if the eggs turned colors or got duller in color or not. Sorry. :) but it does seem they softened up a bit and since urs is past its "due date" I'd definitely keep an eye out for that little head poking out of the egg. Sounds to me like it won't b long but then again I'm not an expert, so there u go! Good luck & keep us posted!!

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
