Hi all!
So ill try to sum this up, i have two approximately 9 week old dragons. i have gone over the set up on this forum before and all is good. (uv, heat repticarpet etc.) mine has been growing like a weed since we got them but my husbands is still quite small. the past week they have not been eating much as the pet store messed up their cricket order and only had large ones. they had fresh salad everyday and i fed them some babyfood (sweet potato and squash) but not nearly as filling as protein foods right. so anyway now they have their pinheads and are eating a bit more. but my husbands seems uninterested. we were hand feeding them a couple of the medium sized ones because they wouldnt eat on their own. they both seem allert and bright eyed. they drink plenty of water (in the bath and from their dish). the first night we gave them sweet potatoe my husbands beardie looked like he was on a sugar high! haha but he looked so happy basking anyway, his poops seem normal ish for the lack of food lately. when they do eat its solid-ish with urate and some liquid but they really do love to drink in the tub lol so im guessing its hydration. ive called all around my city and so far there is only 1 vet hospital that handles reptiles and its more of a "if there is a problem then bring him in". i asked if he does fecal tests to look for parasites and the lady on the phone was like "he can.... " but didnt seem to keen on it. they obviously arent experts on reptiles. the closest one that apparently is really good for exotics in about 2 hours away so im trying to fix him up as best i can first. one hospital said they do carry Oxbow Herbivore Critical Care. i was hoping for the Carnivore one as that is what is most reccomended on here but would this be of any help? i will order the carnivore one if i cant find it locally but i want to get something to help him now while i wait. Any help would be appreciated. like i said, he seems fine in all aspects, (bright eyed energetic etc.) just seems underweight. we was still slower growing than mine to begin with but since this past week with the crix issue he seems too small and underweight.
