ummm... suicidle beardie?!

my beardie is convinced that he must jump off our sliding screen door, and commit suicide! e climbs to the very top, than tries to climb off the corner of the top of the screen. we hear his claws on the screen scratching against the wood pannel, but is this normal?! :shock: ps did i sppell suicidle right?!

For some beardies, yes it's normal. I've read about some beardies than jump off of a couch, scaring their slaves half to death, and keep repeating it.

yep mine jumps off the highest branch in his viv when he can and if I put him on my desk he likes to jump off it too lol. My boyfriend and I dont allow him on the desk anymore...they are such little daredevils :twisted:

LOL...I love reading stories like this...One of our big males is our biggest daredevil of our 4 beardies...he jumps off of everything, when he is in his viv, he jumps off the very tip top of his log and tries to get to one of our female Dragons...if he is out of the viv, and on the couch, he will either jump off the back of it, or if he sees our female shepard/lab mix dog, he will jump on her back...she doesnt like it too much, so she takes off and he goes to the floor!!...other that, he spends his day headbobbing at EVERYTHING!!!

he jumps on your dogs back? ha, thats hilarious! my little boy likes to throw himself of my bed.. he sometimes jumps from my bed to my chest of draws, barely grabs the side, clambers on and then sits there looking all proud of himself!

my little beardie has taken a few dives off of my computer desk, and typically either ends up in my backpack or lands in the nice big pile of yarn right next to my bed.

We call it skydiving, SPAZZ do'se the spread eagel thing, bouce on her belly and run across the carpet, scared the poop out of us the first 10 times. lol

oh yeah... I've seen MJ climb my TV stand... then jumped (No time to catch her), and looked like she may have injured her leg.. .then 3 seconds later, repeated the WHOLE THING AGAIN :shock:

Yes! Omg Louie has scared me half to death soo many times being his little daredevil self. I'm constantly hearing thumps from his viv from him running up to his hammock and then flying off of it to the ground. And one of his favorite things to do is leap from my arm onto my head. :roll: lol he cracks me up :mrgreen:
