My beardie is such a sweetie. He loves attention. He enjoys going for car rides and likes being out of his tank and around people.
EXCEPT my boyfriend. My beardie just cannot stand it when he and I sit together. He will sometimes puff up at him and chase him.
Is this normal? Because my boyfriend is like the only one he does this to, and he did nothing to my beardie...

Maybe they need some one on one time together. My husband hasn't spent much time with Oscar and he is uncertain about him because of it.

Or maybe he is jelous and loves you, LOL

Well, I let them hang out sometimes, thinking the same thing, but it's usually when the dragon is with me that he gets aggrivated with my boyfriend...

I agree with LJean, maybe they just need some "male bonding" time..
Of course your beardie is going to be more attached to you, you're the one giving the snuggles and affection....and FOOD!!

Just a thought, does your BF wear any cologne or have a strong smelling shampoo or something? It could be a scent in him that's turning your beardie's nose? :?:

I guess he loves you. That is actually very sweet.

Other than them trying to bond, I am no help to you.

This is exactly the same with my boyfriend. She absolutely hates it if he comes near us when we are cuddling. She will puff at him and 'tunnel' into me.
I think its just possesiveness, because if she is alone with him she is perfectly fine.

i'm definitely gonna have to agree with youk here....

i have 2 friends who just so happen to wear a strong smelling perfume.... nesta doesn't like to sit with either of them and trust me, she sits on everyone since she doesn't move much.

one day after a friend stayed at the house, and before she got ready, i took nesta out of her tank, nesta sat with my friend with no problem and has ever since that she hasn't been wearing that perfume, that could be it.

Im definatly going to side with posessiveness on this one. He probably thinks you are his mate, and is trying to scare your bf off, lol. Thats cute tho!

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
