Typical day and busy day of a beardie

Hi all I was wondering what a typical day and a busy day in the life of a beardie?
I know all the feeding and basics but I am trying to figure out if having a baby beardie will make me have to stay home if I can make the cage portable enough to take back and forth from my mother's to my place or am I okay to leave him alone? (I like to spend time with my mom regularly)

Their routines vary depending on what you offer them and how old they are. Having a large enclosure with lots of places to climb and variety will make it so you don't need to interact as much (but I like to interact anyway). A young dragon needs feeding a couple few times per day so you'll need to be around for that but an adult can be left for a couple of days without a problem if needed. It's best to establish a general routine. My dragon wakes up and basks in the kitchen, has breakfast and a poop. Then goes and basks under his living room light and looks out the window for a while. I would try to provide at least a little while outside of the tank to explore and interact every day if you can. They travel pretty well so if you have an enclosure set up (or at least a good portable basking area in a safe spot) you can bring them back and forth as needed. They need time to bask after eating, and usually at least several hours of basking each day.

Rex's day.

Lights on 6am .... sun's been up for a while but it's cozy in my hide so I stayed and waited for mommy to get out bed.
Mommy finally showed up about 7am and said good morning to me and the little ones, daddy's sleeping in as usual.
I decided to get up and bask and wait for daddy to get up and give me my crickets.
He finally showed up about 10am and fed the little ones their crickets and gave each a turn on the floor (...oh oh here comes that pesty Toothless who fancies me again .... a few slow headnods and arm waves will sort him out ).
Peppa visited me again when she had been fed and Toothless had been picked and returned to his tank. I like her , she knows her place.
Arrr ... finally my turn, hello daddy .... I love my snuggles and morning greeting routine .... oh it's that green stuff today .... I see my crickets are ready, sooner I eat the green stuff the sooner I'll get my yummy crickets.
Back into my enclosure after my feed .
Been here for a while (about 2 hours , am now using my beardie mind powers to will daddy to let me have some time on the floor, it's working.
I see it's sunny today....Yay !!! think I'll go and spend some time at the window and watch the world or the TV if daddy turns it on.
Ooo getting hot now, think I'll mosey over and curl up on the kitchen floor and cool off.
Here comes mommy , been out for about 2 hours guess it's time to go back in to bask some more.

Diner time Peppa and Toothless have been fed again. Mommy and daddy have been eating and are settling in for the night .... more beardie mind control staring at daddy .... it's worked , always does, he's well trained .... love my evening daddy (and mommy) snuggle before bed time, all cozy and warm wrapped in his red t-shirt with a lot of gentle back stroking .... I'm so relaxed .... so sleeply .... nearly time for me to go back to go to bed the lights will be switching off soon (nearly 9pm).
