Two tone bulb for basking?

Hi all. Today my mother picked up a potential new basking bulb for Bandit, but I've come here first to check it's suitable.

It's a TCP SmartLED Two Tone bulb. 470 lumens, 7 watt (40 watt equivalent), non-dimmable, mercury-free. You switch it on once and it's a "warm white" 3000 kelvin, but if you turn it off and then on again, the colour changes and it becomes "cool white" 4000 kelvin. Mum grabbed it because I explained that higher-kelvin light helps protect beardie eyes from harmful UVB radiation, as detailed here.

I doubt that a 7 watt bulb will get anywhere close to basking heat, but I wanted to check here to make sure. I'm also wary of a bulb that changes colour, wondering if it has some kind of coating that could hurt beadie eyes somehow.

It will not work. LEDs don't put of much if any heat, as you are correct at assuming.

It might be OK for ambient light but it's a bit of incorrect information that additional lights will protect against UVB. Mounting the UV overhead will do the most good but having a nice bright environment is also great. The color change would be done via turning on or off blue diodes, I would guess. Depending on what sort of diodes the LED light uses it may look very weird to a dragon even if it looks white to us.
