I have my UVB wired to the screen top of Bubbie's cage, and today when I was cleaning out her cage I set the screen on our couch. Low and behold, my cat knocked it off and the bulb does not work anymore. Luckily I had placed an order yesterday at pet mountain to get new bulbs in 2-5 business days.
I know for the time being I need to take her outside for at the minimum an hour every day for direct sunlight exposure. I will be giving her baby food with "Rep-Cal Calcium with Vitamin D3 Phosphorous - Free Ultrafine powder" mixed in as well as greens and bearded dragon pellets. Is this enough to last her until next week or is there other precautions that I should be taking?
Also, I see that some of you bathe your beardies together. I'm wondering if it would be safe to bathe my 3 year old female beardie (Bubbie) and my 3 month old male beardie (Aiden) together or if I should wait until Aiden is a bit older and larger? I got Aiden just last week and he is doing fantastic so far. However, I am unsure if they will have a problem as they are in different rooms of the house and are unaware of each other's existance.
Thank you so much in advance! I appreciate it.
