I gave my beardie, 9 months old, a blue berry a couple days ago. That was Wednesday. Tonight, Friday, vave him a second one. Normally i only give him one a week. Will he be ok or is he getting too much and will be sick or worse?
Most of the sources I've read say things like "occasionally" but they don't define/explain exactly what that means. :x If something gives your pet digestive issues (i.e. diarrhea or constipation) I'd say back off on it or don't feed it again. That said, these guys are hardy little buggers--he'll survive.
OTOH, there's stuff like this floating around on the internet. There's no way to tell if this occurred all at once, or if it was several episodes edited together.
Personally, I don't think 2 in a week (especially on non-consecutive days) is any cause for concern, but again, it depends on the aftermath (his poops). Others opinions may vary.
Sometimes I give my dragons 3 or 4 in 1 day. You don't need to worry so much If it causes a problem then just cut them out or cut back on the quantity.
Blueberries are quite healthy, just a bit sugary and can cause some upset tummys if too many are fed.
