Miss Buddy laid a clutch of eggs today, followed by a bath. During the bath, after a few mins, she started twitching, limb by limb kinda. Her legs and head, then it looked like she was trying to itch herself (using her back leg). I took her out of the water, I didn't want her to drown. I was super nervous. She did it a little more out of the bath but now is fine. I noticed she tried to eat my temp gun so I went to feed her. She didn't want greens, ate a few superworms. While feeding her, she tried to jump onto a bag. Then tried to jump again at nothing really. I found that odd.

This is her 6th clutch, 3rd this year. She has never done this before.

I have the ReptiSun 10.0 18inch bulb.
Tile substrate.
Eats collard/mustard greens. Superworms. Occasionally squashes.
Hot side 99-103 and cool side 79-82.
Gets baths a few times a week, after she lays its everyday because she will poop a lot.
Bath temps anywhere from 97-94. I do make it a little deep so she swims to poop but she has a rock cave in it at all times to stand on.

I tried to take a video but by the time I thought about it and got to my phone she basically stopped. I will post it soon anyway because I think the very beginning has her doing one foot.
I really hope she is okay but I have no idea what's going on!

I was excited she laid her eggs already because I have to work tonight, within the next 2 hours. I'm worried to leave her home. I will have someone keep an eye on her but no one knows her like me.

It's the video.. click it I believe. I can post another link or something. Again, she stopped doing it while I was recording. The very beginning she kind of does it with her back foot but very fast. She was doing it with each foot, one at a time, and her head like she was shaking it.

I clicked on the pic but nothing showed up. But,she'll probably be fine. You want to be sure she's getting adequate calcium, I know you supplement, also be sure to use a very light coating of vitamin powder once a week, although I doubt that this is related. Sometimes they just do strange things, mine often act like they're trying to scratch when they're in the water. Just to be on the safe side, keep the water level just a bit lower though.

When I click on the picture it brings up another window to watch the video. So maybe you have a popup blocker?
Either way, I'm nervous. She has scratched herself before like a cat or whatever with her back foot. It was just scary to watch. She seems okay now. She just basking. Hasn't eaten anymore but I left greens in there for her.
I hope this was a once in a life time kind of thing, or just something she thought was funny to do. lol I don't know. I just hope it's nothing bad.
I never leave her alone in the bath. She won't poop unless she swims for a bit. (Sometimes she will when she just laid, she eats a bunch afterwards) And she's got calcium powder, liquid calcium, liquid vitamin, and bee pollen. Along with some gutloading mix for the superworms. I always do more calcium during laying season for her. Thanks AHBD.

And thanks Heather. I find her pretty cute myself.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
