I am about to move back to school and I finally have a house (not living on campus). This means I will be bringing my little (not so much anymore) girl with me. I will not have good access to crickets so I am looking at starting a turk colony. I have a few unanswered questions though. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

1. I am only feeding 1 adult bearded dragon, how big of a colony do I need?
2. How many roaches should I start my colony with?
3. What are the best methods for getting the egg casings out? What about separating out males?
4. I want to feed her the adults, do I even need remove the egg casings or can I just leave them in the breeding bin?
5. Any tips on keeping my colony from getting out of hand? I don't want a huge colony that will produce WAY more than she eats.
6. Any ProTips in general?

Thanks in advance!

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
