Tummy troubles and a probiotic?

So i have had Gypsy for 8 months now and ever since i got her we have had timmy troubles. She gets clogged up really easily and when she does i fight really hard to make her she doesn't prolapes, because it tries to. So i was wondering if giving her a probiotic would help her tummy and maybe make her less clogged up? What do ya guys think? Because she was a rescue i think all these problems are from having coccidia for so many years. So probiotc or no probiotc?
