Slim is now 4mo old 9" long and 25g I think he might be really spoiled. ..... he won't go to sleep at night until I wrap him in his blankie rock him to sleep and tuck him in. .... Ans honestly if I don't follow that specific routine he will sit and stare at me and not go to sleep. .... how spoiled are y'alls beardies

Mine is the same with the blanket thing.
He makes very clear that he just wants
apples and nothing else. I spoiled him
to the point he won't any treat but apples xD

When we still had Redrock, she was soo used to going with us when we went out somewhere. One time we were going (summer) to a local town, hot 100+ day time temps. She knew we were going out somewhere and were going to leave her home. Well, she gave us a look that said "you are going away and not taking me with you". This time I told her we were going somewhere that would make her too hot and she would like it better at home. One other time we caved, took her with us but it was too hot for her and she didn't really enjoy it.

Another time she looked at me to say "you are going away again and not taking me with you". This time I said to her "yes, I go away but I come back again". I could see her thinking about that and she never had a problem with me leaving again.

Haha, Stan is the SAME WAY. I got into the habit of snuggling with him until he falls asleep - once he's asleep, I tuck him into his sleeping bag.

There was one night I fell asleep early, and my husband said that Stanley sat there in the dark with his eyes open - apparently waiting for me to come snuggle him - for 2 HOURS. Poor baby!

Vash will not sleep unless he's under his blanket, he will literally sit there and wait
for me to tuck him in, eyes open in the dark.
I fell asleep without him under his blanket and woke up 2 hours later and he just sat there
looking at me in the dark like "Well? Where is blanket?" and I gave it to him then he went
to sleep, I never fall asleep again without giving him his blanket.

... I think my baby is alot older than Petsmart told me if yours is 4mo's at 25g.

Mine is about 70g, and 10-11 inches I'd guess, but he likes to snuggle in my beard haha, and crawl up my ear and try to sleep there but he's to fat .

Babylink I don't know but someone on here told me that every beardie grows at their own rate just like people. ... and I think slims growth was stunted when I first got him because he had worms and wouldn't eat much I don't know if he will catch up or even if he already has so yours could just be a fast grower

if i hold Mr Dargon until he falls asleep i have a hard time getting him off, he'll wake up and grab at me.

how spoiled are mine? i am looking for a bassinet to put them to bed in!

and i also get 'the stare' when i am leaving. i wear glasses and i have my 'going out' pair and my 'at home' pair. when i put on my going out pair he sits at the corner and stares at me all sad looking. he sure knows how to lay on the guilt trip!
one time i was getting dressed for work and i was holding him, when i went to take him off he grabbed onto my glasses (i hadn't switched them yet) and he would not let go. another time he was on my shoulder and my husband took him off me, Mr Dargon went crazy trying to keep hold of me and ended up grabbing my hair with both his hands and holding it like it was rope. i had no idea they could do that!

Jango loves being out of his tank.. he loves either being on the window sill or on my shoulder.. when I try to place him back into his tank to warm up he clings to me and won't let go, then I feel bad once I do get him into his tank.. he looks up at me with those precious eyes of his like he's gonna cry or something. I tried a blankie for him but he don't really care for it.. when he's in my son's room he will snuggle up with one of his stuffed animals and go to sleep but when I put a blankie in his tank he wants nothing to do with it.
