Okay so he goes to the top of his wood stick things and starts trying to climb up wall. Its like he wants out i guess. He is in a cage that has three solid walls and a glass front. So the corners he tries to climb are solid white. Ideas or suggestions to help him?

As far as I'm concerned, this is normal behavior and he should grow out of it eventually. All beardies do this, called "glass dancing". No one likes to be kept in a box and beardies are definitely a curious bunch that loves to explore.

I agree with Spoony...not to worry. I posted this same question and was told "spring fever" and to go ahead and give him some options. Went out and got him a few toys to climb and boy did he have at it. My guy definitely has shown A LOT of his "wild side" recently.

It could be the glass dancing and relocation but could also just be your beardie wanting to jump around and play.

Don't get me wrong, once Batman (only took 2 days) figured out his new viv opened from the front he's becoming quite the escape artist :) They're pretty freaking smart!

It really is incredible. He absolutely lets me know what he wants and when and there's a completely mutual understanding. It fascinates me as this is my first and only reptile...

Ditto. I've begun to decipher Zero's different glass dances. And when they make eye contact? Oh man, it gets deep.

He has stopped doing it as much now. Ive been taking him out of th cage much more so maybe that helped. Hes just so little i worry that he'll jump off my shoulder and hurt himself. I do keep my hand around him but you know how speedy these little guys are.

I let him lay on my chest and wrap a blanket around him to keep his heat in. He immediately falls to sleep. Never thought i could fall in love with a reptile but this guy surly has my heart.

Heh...In my opinion you should let it run around like your bed or your room...My Daisy was doing the same so i started to take her outside let her run around woods(when I'm watching her)I put her on my window when is nice out and after she gets bored she runs back to her tank...(i find her behind it because she obviously can't get in it herself)but that's just my opinion

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
