I don't know if this is too much of a concern or if Darwin is just clumsy, but I have noticed since I got him 2 weeks ago, he trips sometimes. He will be running around and all of a sudden trip, and fall on his face. He gets right up after and runs around again, but he does it quite often. Is it a problem.?

Hi
Possibly could be a problem. What type of UVB are you using? What type of vitamins are you using? How old is your beardie?

Reptisun 10.0, I have been giving him phoenix worms lately and I heard they have a lot of calcium so no extra calcium, and he is about 2-3 months probably only around 5-6 inches. I only got him two weeks ago.

Reptisun 10.0 linear or coil?
Ok phoenix worms are high in calcium but they shouldnt replace vitamins entirely. They still need the d3 and the calcium and I am thinking you have a vitamin deficiency going on right now.How many PW are you giving?

Ok thats a good bulb so your good there. When you say 20 each time, how many feeders per day total?I would first recommend you slow down a little on the phoenix and add some other feeders to the diet. Its hard to maintain proper calcium of thats all your feeding.I generally feed mine pheonix worms 2-3 times a week and also give calcium 4Xper week to balance it all out.Normally with babies you go 5 days with calcium at least but if the only thing they are getting calcium is from phoenix then they are not getting enough D3 and wont be able to absorb the calcium correctly which is what I think may be happening with you at the moment.
Just a few more questions to rule out some other things:
What are your temps?
Where and how are you measuring them?
How often is your beardie pooping?
Is it very smelly or runny?
How do the urates look?

I don't have a proper thermometer yet, but I have a digital outdoor one that reads 85 with a normal 75 watt household bulb, and a 65 watt heat emitter. I am still waiting to go out and get a probing thermometer. I fed him crickets before which I would dust with the D-3 repti-cal, and he poops regularly sometimes twice a day. I feed him about 4 crix in afternoon with maybe five phoenix worms and then at night the 20 phoenix worms. And does urates mean urine? I haven't seen him pee, but I bath him every other day and spray him everyday. Also offer him water through a syringe when ever possible.

Ok there may also be temp problems as well.85 is what temp?Hot spot or cool side?Beardies need a temp slope starting with a basking surface basking temp of 95-105F and grading down to a cool end of about 75-80F.Its also not enough PW to give enough calcium so you will need to dust. Also if your beardie is a baby or a juvie he is not eating nearly enough thats why I asked how old he is.As for urates yes its pee however not liquid, its the white stuff that comes out when he poops.

Well then yes he poops and urates daily. And he is a baby, but I don't know what else to make him eat.

Ok if he is a baby then he should be eating as many crix as he can in a 15minute period 3xper day which is upwards 50 appropriately sized crix a day. When I say appropriate size I mean the crix should not be any larger then the space between his eyes. You can still offer the pheonix worms.I will give you an example one of my beardies is 15 weeks old and she will eat 40-50 pw in one sitting.I count this as one meal and she will also eat about 75 crix in that day. While she eats a bit more then most he does really need to be offered much more protien then what he is getting now.
Onto the urates are they pure white or is the color beige, tan yellow? Are they soft, hard, runny?Sorry for the gross questions but it matters.

Its white and when it first comes out and i guess its soft, but I have never felt it. When I put crickets in the tank it just watches them.

Probably because your temps are way off.Correct lighting and heating is everything with beardies. You need to find a way to get those temps right. If the temps are too hot he could become hydrated and suffer neurological issues and if its to cold he wont digest and become impacted either way he wont eat well if they are off.How big are the crix you are giving?

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
