My beardie is starting to shed for what I think is the first time, she has been constantly scratching at the glass ever since her tail began to shed in mass. She has been scratching for at least an hour or more. I tried to take her out a few times to try to calm her down, but she immediately tried to escape my grasp. Normally she doesn't put much effort into escaping but this time she was trying very hard to get away. Whenever I put her back she went back to scratching at the glass. I am very worried that she is stressing out hard core or that something may be wrong in her tank that I am not aware of, or maybe her tail shedding is just freaking her out. I really want to take her out to let off some steam but I am very worried of her escaping and getting lost.

Do you have a harness that you could use? If not,a lot of people simply use a bit of string - so you could try a home-made leash type of thing. Otherwise just block off a room that is safe for her to go in, and let her relive some energy/frustration.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
