travel questions need ideas

so i just found recently that my little sister is going to be having her baby early, wich means i have to go home about 3-days earlier than i expected too. Anyways i had someone to beardie watch ,but now they cant so it looks like im taking reaper along with. My question is does anyone travel with their beardies for a week or so and what did you do for your BD tank. I have a 4x4x2 tnak and there is no way for me to bring it. Should i just buy a 20gal tank and lights so he can be comfy for a week, or does anyone ahve a cheaper idea lol. I kinda hate to drop 100$ for a tank i will never use again unless i travel with my BD. Heres a picture of Reaper His head is in Shed but he is a growing and eating machine.

Buy an appropriately sized rubbermaid bin from walmart etc. If he is only away from his tank for a week you will only really need a basking light (even better if you have an mvb). Just get a bulb housing with a clamp and you're set!

Yup. That is what Maxxly is in right now. I have a Viv on order but won't come for another week or so....but she is only about 9" long. The bin cost $8, the light ficture $12...I also sprung for a compact floresent cuz I'm not SURE how long the viv will be with the weather and all. I lined the bottom with paper towel and have a climbing log in there.

If you take his climbing stuff he will have some of the familiar and my be more at ease.

So question for ya, do I need a UVB light if he is going to be in the rubbermaid container? He will be in there for 5 days and what kind of bulb and watts did u use in the clamp since the container isn't that big?
