Those are his secret weapon, they are detachable and act like a honey bee's stinger lolOk, not really, but I just though Thor's scales look really cool right now. View attachment 89422
Me too. Back when I had an slr camera (before digital cameras existed) my favorite lens was my macro lens. I can't wait to upgrade my phone again. This was with a Samsung S21+ Ultra. I could have probably done a better job but he was being sassy. They look translucent to me, like a human's fingernail.
I love taking a very close look at dragon scales - love all kinds of interesting structures and textures.
That is really cool, and really gross at the same time (I hate bugs!)That's a cool pic of the transluscent scales ! This isn't exactly macro but I also love taking pics of animals + insects. These flies on a mushroom caught my eye and were posing so nicely. Who knew that had silver on their heads and such nice irridescent colors !

Owning a bearded dragon and hating bugs sounds.....demanding....That is really cool, and really gross at the same time (I hate bugs!)
For real, I have work gloves next to his house for when I have to feed crickets.Owning a bearded dragon and hating bugs sounds.....demanding....
Now that you mention it...... I couldn't say for sure either lol.I thought for a very long time about what part of the dragon was in this macro photo and could not guess. Does anyone know what part of the body this is?
