TRANSLUCENT Health Concerns

I have a sub-adult translucent that seems to be perfectly healthy. However, it was suggested to me that translucents tend to have genetic problems. I have noticed that he is built differently; very long and thin with little muscling or flesh. Can any one provide more information on this subject so that if there are any issues (neurological, phyisical ext...) I can watch out for them. Do they have a shorter lifespan? Also, I am a selective breeder, as everyone should be. I only breed beardies that posses progressive genetics, such as longevity, disposition, and over all good health. I would not want to breed a trans if issues could occur. Only healthy babies should be intentionally brought in to the world, I think. Thanks for any advice.

P.S. I am interested in dragon genetics, such as what genes influence colors, size, and what alleles stand for the gene . If any one has good links of info I would appreciate it.

im gonna shoot you an email with some genetics info in it. But just so you know, to find out about the background of certain morphs and all the "practices" used to get there you will need to go to more "breeder" in depth sites. Just note a lot of the stuff you read on those types of sites you will not agree with and will most likely dislike but it is what it is.
