Transferring to adult diet

My ember is now 1 year and 2 months old. I was wondering when I would transfer to an adult diet and what it would be. She weighs around 450g and is about 18.5 inches. The diet I was going to change to was going to be fresh greens and veg everyday but more than usual and only doing locust as many as she will eat 2-3 times per week but this is just a guess. I HAVEN'T STARTED YET ! So don't worry if this is wrong. Her current diet is greens and locust everyday. The greens I give her are spring greens (collard greens out of uk) and the veg is varied

Personally i'd wait till shes around 20 months or more instead of 14 or so months.
However this is just because i consider 12-20 months to be sub-adult as they still do some growing but not as much.

This is what i usually go by for when to change feeding amounts and things like that for the bug portion.
1-4 months eat 3 times a day, 4-12 months eat 2 times a day, 12-20 months eat once a day, and then 20+ months eat every other day. Each feeding consists of around 10-20 bugs.

You could do 2-3 times a week for insects however i do 4 times a week so my adult beardies get calcium 3x a week and then multivitamins once a week on their bugs.

Hello,

They can continue to grow into their 2nd year, absolutely.
Just be sure the greens & vegetation stays integrated well. Adults can have 40-50 insects
weekly & you can mix & match any type or frequency you would like for them.

At 14 months old she is still only a juvenile, i transition from two live insect meals per day to one per day at about 12 months.

She wont be fully grown and adult until she's about 20-24 months old and her growth tapers off.
You can realistically expect her to nearly double in size between 14 months and 2 years old.
My Peppa was 480g at 14 months and tapered off at 710g and just over 24 inches long at 2 years old

Keep the bugs coming , she needs them EVERY DAY and lots of them BECAUSE she is still growing rapidly and needs the insect proteins and fats and plenty of dietary calcium every day too.

Although some dragons grow to 24", very few do no matter how much they are fed and most dragons would not double in size during that time period. A 24" dragon is a genetic rarity today.They are a bit like people....not all of us grow to the height of a basketball player. One live meal a day is fine, some feed them every other day....both ways will still provide plenty of nutrition.
