I just wanted to tell you you've done an AMAZING job! As far as handeling. I rescued a Beardie who was about a year old and was 14 inches when I got him. He was and still is a tad nervous. He does best when he is wrapped in a blankie or under my jacket. Just keep making it a point to hold him every day. AND GREAT JOB!! Glad he found a great home.

Thanks everybody. I was so excited because Black Beard has finally had his first shed since I got him! I thought he looked beautiful. Handling him has gotten easier. I found that holding him to my chest with my hand over him makes him more comfortable. He has become an amazing vegetable eater. I can't believe it was only a couple of months ago that I was feeding him baby food through a syringe. Here's his pic after shedding. There's still a little spot on his tail that hasn't shed yet.

I'm just happy I was able to take him in. I'm hoping to build (with assistance) a larger terrarium for him in a couple of months. He seems to have grown two inches since I got him, but that could Küste be the weight gain.

Just finished reading through this incredible thread. What an awesome story, the first few pictures were so hard to look at. You really have done an amazing job bringing him back to life.. How is he doing?

Thank you. He's doing so good. He's calmed down as far as handling him goes. He's still squirmy, but he's not scared. He almost seems too big for his terrarium now, so I'm hoping to either buy or build him something larger.
