Tough retained shed on nose

Hi,

just wondering if anyone has any idea how I can loosen some retained shed? It's been on his nose for months - it went opaque like it was going to be shed but then it went back to the regular skin colour instead of coming off and the area has been all raised and pitted since then, you can feel the edges of the skin with your finger but it's tough. I give him regular baths and have started using shed aid but nothing's happening. Any ideas?

don't know if it will help, but I heard someone used it before- try Aloe vera gel, it's good for sunburns/etc and moisturising so maybe could help with the shedding? good luck
