total rant! grrrr!!

went to the flea market this morning, was hoping to *maybe* find a bigger tank for rocky. first thing i see when i walk in are lizard tanks....i go over, lizards in all of them, of different types, no tanks for sale. they had a baby beardie - $65 - NO LIGHT...freakin crickets as big as i feed rocky (11 mos old) running around the tank. the poor thing was laying in a bush / tree type thing they had in the tank. not moving. don't know if it was because of no light on, or if it was just half dead. no one there to yell at about it, i asked the man in the booth next door he said he was watching it for him he was on break. three times i went back there and the owner wasn't there. lucky for him! i was so stinkin' mad, thought of how happy that little thing could be if things were done right for it. when i left he still wasn't back. or maybe the other guy WAS the owner and he heard me ranting about it and just didn't wanna deal with me. i mean, c'mon ..... why treat a poor little thing like that....it deserves better!! bunch of friggen yahoos i tell ya...!!

It is so sad to know that this type of thing occurs everyday at sales and markets just like this. I wish i could do something to fix it but the only idea i have it to buy them all...but the money isnt there to rescue hundreds of poor animals.

That's honestly so sad Poor lil guy...hopefully some responsible person goes and rescues him.

Some pet stores are just as bad. I seen one no light 75 degrees, full grow in a 20 gal.tank. The humility was 60......vary sad
