took newbie to vet

Ok got my first beardie last week. at first ate fine even out of my hand. took her to vet 3 days after I got her,they said she was a bit underweight and malnutritioned, so they suggessted vitamins. got some in spray since then she would not eat. I feed her mealworms,crickets witch are gut filled and dusted along with some greens.she also hadnt pooped. gave her a bath last night ,she pooped today and does seem more alert.she ate a little today with no vita spray. what else can i do to get her to proper weight and health. oh on a side note she might be a he vet and i think shes a he but she is a little young to tell.

Hi and welcome to the site. Sorry that your beardie is worrying you. It is possible that it could be relocation stress, it sometimes takes a couple of weeks for them to get settled into a new house and start eating.

How old is your dragon?
How long have you had your dragon?
How long is your dragon?
What is the sex of your dragon?
What size enclosure do you have your dragon in?
What type substrate do you have on the bottom of your tank?
Do you use UVB lights?
If so, Is it a coil, compact, fluorescent tube, or Mercury Vapor bulb?
What is the brand name and number of your bulb? Wattage (if MVB)?
How old is your UVB bulb?
How close can your dragon get to the UVB?
Do you use a separate basking bulb? What kind and what is the wattage? Is it a white or colored bulb?
What are the basking temps?
What is the cool side temp?
Do you take the temps with a stick on thermometer, a digital thermometer with a wire and a probe end or a temp gun?
Where exactly are you taking your basking temps?
Do you use a heat rock or heat pad?
What do you feed your dragon? Please be specific.
How often do you feed and what time do you feed (morning, afternoon, night)?
Do you gutload (feed) your crickets, worms, etc?
Do you use vitamin or calcium supplements? What brand(s)? How many days a week do you use each of them?
Is your dragon having regular bowel movements (poops)?
Do you bath your dragon? How often?
Do you mist your dragon or offer water other than in the bath?
Does your dragon share an enclosure with another dragon?
Have you gotten a vet check and fecal done?

Wax worms are a great feeder to give her to get her weight up. Really, the healthiest way is to simply feed her and wait though!

One thing- mealworms are very bad for bearded dragons, especially babies. The outer shell is very hard so it is difficult to digest and can lead to impaction which can be fatal. Superworms are the same way.

Thanks for the info, To answer some of your questions Jiffy...I got Libby on sunday,she is about a yr old. 30gal tank,coil basking light,day uv light,and a night light., all is brand new.i use reptile liner on bottom.not sure of sex.too young to tell for sure. I feed her gut filled and dusted crickets,mealworms,some greens.Basking temp with an infared gun is 107 on slate rock,cool side is 74 on top of log. I think im doing all the right things, i did bath her,she did poop. Maybe i am worried for nothing.she is still friendly I just want libby to be happy and healthy.Going to ge waxworms insted of the mealworms
