i got my wife a baby dragon in january of this year, maybe 7 inches long. had a 20 gallon tank with reptisun good temps and stuff, and about mid summer started to eat greens in the morn. we just got a 75 gallon tank and a new megaray a couple weeks ago and since then he wont eat greens and he doesnt bask how he used to. Hes around 15 inches long now still eats crickets and i think is less then a year old, could it be brumation? i was thinking he is too young and i thought they wouldnt eat, but he still tears the bugs up, so i dotn get it. he hasnt been using the corner everyday how he was either, and even in a bath he doesnt, maybe the day after though, does any of this seem like something to worry about?

Hello,

Your dragon is a bit small. What type & brand of UVB are you using, a flourescent tube bulb or a compact or coil light? Do you supplement calcium as well?
He is borderline too young to brumate yes. Some at that age, will try to though, but if he is not appearing to do very well, you cannot let him brumate until we figure this out. Have you gotten a fecal done on him lately?

we had a reptisun 10 in the smaller tank but now we use the megaray 100 watt with the bigger tank, and yeah we use miner-all on the crickets(30 or so at a time), he never really ate much veggies though. im guessing on the age though all i know he was really small when we got him, not the smallest ive seen at pet stores but he could easily hide underwater in one of those small reptile waterbowls and could stretch out on my hand. there arent any vets around lansing mi that i know of that do reptile stuff, so no poo tests

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
