Too long in the tub? First black beard

Is there such a thing as too much time in the tub? I give Scorch a bath every day since he came home @ 6". Often he will stay in for a half hour, up to an hour. He is still small enough 11 1/2" that I put his tub in his viv so he can hop out any time he likes. He hangs out in there like he is basking and sometimes will swim in circles. This morning when I was feeding him breakfast he black bearded me for the first time. I had just finished feeding him his dusted crickets and went to give him a couple worms when I realized the container of worms only had 1 left in it so I plucked it out, fed it to him and walked across the room to throw out container. When I came back I got out new worms and when I went reached over to feed it to him wala black beard. He immediately put it down and ate the worm. I then drew his bath and he had no attitude about me picking him up and putting him in there. He sat in there for 50 minutes and every time I walked by he gave me the stink eye. What's up with that?

Lol thats funny, he got fed 1 worm and got mad lol, once he saw you had more worms he was like :lol: i cant wait til my bd gives me the first black beard lol
