Too fat?

I always get remarks on how big Kaesar is and I mean, beardies are good sized lizards but it makes me feel like he's too fat for his age and size. He is 18 inches long and roughly 522 grams. He's almost two years old and he eats mostly greens like mustard, turnip, or collards. I also feed him squash, the occasional watermelon and some other random fruits/veggies from the list at beautifuldragons.org. He gets insects like crickets or supers about once a week. I don't know if I'm in denial about whether he is actually overweight because I see him every day or if he actually is fat.

Hi there....it looks like he has a large frame [ isn't that a nice way to put it ? ] and is pretty chunky. He could be a bit thinner but is not obese, just a bit overweight. As long as he has a good diet like you have him on and doesn't gain he should be O.K, but an 18" beardie could be anywhere from about 350 - 450 grams, give or take a few grams.
