Too...fat?!

My beardie is a pretty thing. Compared to a lot of beardies on here she always seemed bigger for a girl..weighing at 615 grams about.

Doc always said she was in perfect health so whatever I was doing was good for her.
She just got out of brumation and MAN is she FAT!!! She weighs 700 grams now..she looks fine and acts fine. But I think i should put her on a diet :S

She barely eats during brumation. Poo is fine. I have given her quite a few superworms which are fattening during her brumation..but sheesh :S 700? that's crazy!

Any tops and ideas for her to lose a bit of weight? I stopped giving the worms. She never eats her greens since birth lol - she is addicted to blueberries time to time though.

I would say you need to be the bad guy to your beardie for a few days and make her start eating veggies. With my girl I had to start with cilantro then moved to other greens. Use tongs or something and dance them in front of her kinda like a moth would move. If she won't take them leave a few right next to her and walk off for awhile. Try this several times a day. No feeders.

She ate like a dragon..a whole inch of a dandelion leaf. then she realized whta i was giving her. gave me attitude. and left.

This girl..has so much attitude..good god LOL

If i try and feed mine girl kale she will nip it and then look up and me and won't touch greens for a couple days. I learned that is her most hated veggie real fast. Try the cilantro. You shouldn't make it a primary green but you can add a little to each salad. Both mine won't turn it down.
