My dragon has been spending very little time basking, if he even comes out of his hide at all, he will bask for maybe an hour, and then go back into his hide, and dig, and dig, and dig. Which in itself is obnoxious because hes "digging" his slate tile. Most of the time I have to take him out to put him on his basking spot, just so he can digest the little bits of food he's eating, in case he is in fact, brumating.
He will still eat, but not as enthusiastic about it as usual. Everything about him is totally normal. Hes not lethargic, as I type this hes watching people walk around my apartment.
The only thing different is hes spending a lot of time sleeping in his "cool" hide. This will be his first fall as an adult(he's just over a year old. He was "7 to 9 months old" when I got him in March)
Hes also my first dragon. So im not really sure what to expect in regards to brumation.
This post is all over the place, I wasn't planning on writing it so I didn't have my thoughts gathered.
Thanks all
