Ok guys. I wanna try something. We all go for the turkey baby food when our dragons won't eat (for what ever reason) We all add calcium to balance the phosphorus. But what about Tofu?

Protein Fat Fiber Sugar Water
Tofu (soft, raw) 8.1% 4.8% .3% .4% 85%
3.6:1
High protein
(hasn't been tested for beardies...?)

Ok, I couldn't find Turkey so I went with chicken:

FOOD ITEM Ca:p Protein Fat Fiber Sugar Water
Chicken (cooked) 27.1% 4.1% 0% (not listed) 68%
1:16.7
High phosphorus, high protein (white meat)
(high levels of phosphorus can block calcium conversion.)

This info was taken from Beautiful Dragons. I can't see any reason for Tofu being a threat to any BD and I'd like to try it with Myah. (not saying she'll eat it) Opinions?

soy does have a high amount of phytoestrogens. I don't know how this could effect a bearded dragon but it is something to take into account.

Yeah for people soy is supposed to be eaten in moderation because of the estrogen business, not sure how that will transfer into beardie diets but I am interested to find out. I would assume it would be safe for an occasional thing... probably not a staple. But I'm not sure.

So, I've been researching soy for Myah to add more variety to her diet and provide an additional source of protein and...guess what!

"Zoo Med Adult Bearded Dragon food with added vitamins and minerals is a complete diet for your pet. With the correct ratios of protein & calcium Zoo Med Adult Bearded Dragon food will help to ensure the long term health of your bearded dragon. Each formula has been created with your Bearded Dragons nutritional requirements in mind. Ingredients: Soybean Hulls" (It's the 1st ingredient! )

But, there's more:
"Zoo Meds new Natural Juvenile Bearded Dragon Food and Natural Adult Bearded Dragon Food with added vitamins and minerals.
Dehulled Soybean Meal, Suncured Alfalfa Meal, Soybean Hulls, Dried Lima Beans, Rice Bran, Whole Ground Wheat, Fish Meal, Escarole, Endive, Calcium Carbonate, Glycerin, Marigold Petal Extract, Menhaden Oil, Yeast Culture, Dried Dandelion Greens, Monocalcium Phosphate, Dicalcium Phosphate, Sodium Bicarbonate, Soy Lecithin," (#1, #3 and #19)

And:
"Exo Terra Bearded Dragon food. Ingredients: Dehydrated Alfalfa Meal, Fish Meal, Wheat Flour, Wheat Gluten Meal, Rice Hulls, Dried Earthworm, Fish Oil, Textured Soy Protein Product" (#8! Not bad )

And this is from Drache613
"That food looks fine, as long as it is Organic! The soy in the US is over 90% genetically modified so make sure if you do get it that it is Organic for her."

My opinion is that this is a safe food for a non-breeding female :D

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
